Kelley Whetsell

Kelley Whetsell is the founder and President of Meeting Demands. Kelley’s love for travel and connecting with new people, coupled with her passion for creating dynamic, engaging events has proven valuable for her clients. With more than 20 years in the meeting and event planning industry, Kelley’s experience serves as a great foundation to create a meeting or event that showcases and celebrates each client’s unique company culture while meeting their strategic goals and objectives. When she’s not working, you’ll find Kelley enjoying the local trails at Hinckley Lake.

Event Manager

Andrea Larick

With a degree in marketing, there’s never one direct path to a specific job. As it turns out, Tradeshow and Event Management was the direction for Andrea! Andrea provides comprehensive event planning services for our customers. She works with our clients to find great venues and vendors for their programs while negotiating contracts to fit within their budgets. She organizes all aspects of event logistics, consults on food and beverage selections for event functions and works to coordinate the registration process. For some of our clients, she also manages sponsor deadlines and deliverables. From conception to completion, Andrea can tackle any aspect of your event to achieve outstanding results! In addition to event planning services, Andrea works with speakers (sometimes more than 200+ per program) to make their participation in all Meeting Demands’ events run smoothly! From travel arrangements, audio/visual needs, marketing material collection to their final presentation Andrea works with our speakers to make sure no detail is overlooked. In her off-hours, Andrea is busy running a taxi service for her teenage son and daughter!

Registration Manager

Ashlee Castillo

Ashlee Castillo, also known as the “live person” behind your event communications, is our Event Registration Manager. Long before an event becomes live to the public or client, Ashlee is hard at work behind the scenes with our registration software provider creating a seamless, informative, easy-to-navigate registration website. In addition to building user-friendly sites, Ashlee is the friendly face behind all event email updates and is always available to assist participants with any questions that may arise before, during or after an event. Ashlee is very passionate about everything she gets her hands on, so whether your registration process is simple or complex, she is ready to take on your project! The only time you might find her less than enthused is when her alma mater, The South Carolina Gamecocks don’t emerge victorious. In addition to college football, Ashlee has a huge passion for her precious toddler son, volunteering with dog rescues and attempting DIY projects.

Sponsor Manager

Julie Macdonald

Julie Macdonald joined Meeting Demands as our Sponsor Manager in November 2014. She works with our event sponsors to ensure their participation is smooth and successful. With 20 years of media experience, Julie has been the lead as an exhibitor, marketer, sales maven, and general box schlepper in a variety of industries throughout her career. Most recently, Julie held an executive position at F+W, a Content + eCommerce Company, where she lead the media sales team and helped to launch the company’s content marketing strategy for sponsors and advertisers in the fine art and craft communities. Julie and her husband live in Connecticut, and in her spare time (what spare time?!) Julie enjoys watching her pre-school age son discover the world around him.
